We are Kinder…

Kinder Collective is a consciously curated family store by the sea. Born in Broadstairs, we're a children's brand with a difference, founded by Rebecca and Fran — two local mamas on a mission to make our beautiful home on the Kent Coast an even better and brighter place to be.

We met through our work in the fashion industry many years ago, and between us have worked in journalism, PR, brand consultancy, events and retail. After juggling young families with work and a growing dissatisfaction with the fashion industry, we knew that we wanted to create a more sustainable shopping destination — one that is joy-filled and inspiring while still caring for people and planet.

And so…

Over the course of many beach walks while on maternity leave with our young babies, Kinder Collective was born — a place to showcase the best preloved fashion for newborns to nine-year-olds.

We know so many parents want to make more sustainable parenting choices, but the truth is time is one of the biggest barriers. While we love certain online marketplaces, they can be time consuming to trawl and difficult to navigate — not to mention blurry photos, sizing discrepancies and less-than-lovely packaging coming as standard.

That's why we do the leg work for you, handpicking high quality second-hand clothes that never feel like a compromise. Our standards are sky high: preloved items are gently worn, and any imperfections are made clear (and reflected in the price) so you can make an informed choice.

More than just clothes

There's so much more to our little store by the sea than preloved children's clothes and shoes. Since launching Kinder Collective, it has fast become a special destination — a mini department store with a small but mighty selection of new clothes and shoes, toys, games, books and baby gifts from brands that match our values.

We host regular events partnering with local authors, educators and creatives to bring joy to children and adults alike. And we work hard to give back through organisations such as Mama to Mama UK, Save the Children and Medical Aid for Palestinians.

Our Broadstairs store is open seven days a week and we'd love to see you soon.
