What it is: Rainbow of Emotions is a soft, crinkly cloth book from Jo & Nic, featuring six pages of brightly illustrated creatures and simple words exploring different feelings through the colours of the rainbow. Designed like a little newspaper, it's lightweight, sensory and easy for tiny hands to hold and explore.
Why we love it: One of our favourite new baby gifts under £20. We love that it's colourful, tactile and practical, while introducing little ones to the idea of different emotions from the very beginning. It's also machine washable and easy to pop in the post - no wonder it's a bestseller in our little shop by the sea.
Every baby is different, but we recommend this cloth book for newborns to 2 years.
