Why we love it: The first book in a three-part series of fabulously bonkers stories about two friends, René & Glumfoot. Beautifully illustrated and full of warmth, wonder and wonderfully quirky characters, it’s set in a cosy woodland world that children will want to return to again and again. It’s a firm favourite in our house — and the other two books are just as joyful. You’ll definitely want the full set!
