What it is: Meet Wiska Wildflower, a creative little witch starting a brand-new school at Inkcap’s Academy. Told in diary format and filled with beautiful full-colour illustrations, we follow Wiska as she settles into her new school, makes new friends and prepares for an exciting fashion show in Spellbrooke City.
Why we love it: We love Wiska! She’s creative, kind and wonderfully relatable, and this is such a lovely story about finding your confidence and learning that true friendship means being able to be yourself. The diary format and gorgeous illustrations make it an easy and engaging read, especially for children who love a little magic.
A brilliant first book in a new series from Harriet Muncaster, creator of Isadora Moon, and one we think will be a big hit with independent readers and fans of magical adventures.
Suitable for children from the age of 7 and above.
