What it is: Meet the best Yoto Mini yet! The 4th Gen Yoto Mini is a brand new release of a new and improved ad-free, screen-free portable audio player for kids comes with much excitement for fans of all things Yoto (we're definitely in this Team Yoto)
This new, 4th generation edition has all of the Yoto features we love, plus it's now puddle-proof and designed for the rough and tumble of childhood. The updated rounded pebble design is a tactile treat for little hands and the new Green Button allows little ones to access up to 20 titles at the touch of the button, while grown-ups can curate Day and Night playlists using the Yoto App.
Why we love it: Yoto is a clever little audio player that grows with your child, from newborn through to the big-kid years. For babies, it can be used for white noise, gentle stories and nursery rhymes to sing along to together. As they grow, there are first words, magical tales, early readers, music, fun facts, drawing along and Yoto Radio with Jake. From around the age of 3 Years, children can independently use physical cards to explore audiobooks, music, activities and educational audio, all while giving their imaginations plenty of room to wander. The cards and digital content aren't just geared towards younger children either, there's plenty for older children and into the early teenage years.
We love Yoto! We each have one for our own children. The beauty of it is how it grows with them, so it's something they can come back to year after year rather than quickly growing out of it. It's also brilliant for travelling and those long car journeys, with up to 14 hours of screen-free entertainment on a single charge. No cameras, no microphones and no ads!
At home, it can be used for bedtime stories and sleep sounds, as an OK-to-wake clock as a portable speaker or with headphones. The little pixel display brings the audio to life, too. Most importantly, it gives children the freedom to listen, imagine and explore independently, without a screen. From those first nursery rhymes to audiobooks, music, radio and fun facts, there's something for every age and stage.
